Burgundy, Golden Hour & Every Moment — Bailey & Nic at Greystone Estate, Hunter Valley

Some days just align perfectly. The weather, the venue, the people, the light. Bailey and Nic's wedding at Greystone Estate in the Hunter Valley was one of those days where everything came together and stayed together from start to finish.

Greystone is a venue that earns its reputation. Clean white architecture, manicured grounds, and that unmistakeable Hunter Valley light that turns golden in the afternoon and refuses to quit. Guests gathered in the courtyard as the sun started its descent, canapes and conversation flowing easily among a group of people who were clearly happy to be exactly where they were.

The styling was bold and considered. Chocolate brown bridesmaid gowns, deep burgundy florals, dark calla lilies, orchids and trailing greenery — all set against Bailey's sleek off-the-shoulder white gown and lace veil. The ceremony altar arrangements were extraordinary, lush and dramatic and completely unexpected. Nic in a black tuxedo with a calla lily buttonhole looked every bit the match for her.

The bridal party shot by the pool captured everything about the energy of the day. Arms raised, everyone cheering, Bailey and Nic kissing in the middle of it all. That is what a wedding party should look like.

But the moments that stand out most are the quieter ones. Bailey laughing with her bridesmaids over a coupe of champagne during cocktail hour, completely in her element. And then the two of them, hand in hand, walking through the grounds as the sun burst out behind them, giving everything. Bailey and Nic were present for every single moment of their day and it shows in every frame.
