Crimson, Calla Lilies & Long Tables Under the Stars — Maddi & Jack at BoxGrove Bathurst

There are weddings, and then there are weddings that stop you in your tracks. Maddi and Jack's day at BoxGrove in Bathurst was exactly that. A celebration so considered, so intentional, and so full of joy that every frame felt like it was made to be remembered.

BoxGrove has a way of making you feel like the rest of the world has melted away, and Maddi and Jack leaned into that completely. Their reception unfolded across two long banquet tables set out on the lawn, strung with festoon lights above and framed by the rolling Bathurst countryside beyond. It was intimate and grand at the same time, the kind of setup that brings people together and keeps them there all night.

The styling was bold and deeply intentional. A rich crimson ran through everything, from the dramatic fabric seating chart that hung between the trees to the deep florals framing the ceremony space. Against that, the bridesmaids stood in sleek black gowns, each carrying a single stem bouquet of white calla lilies tied with long trailing white ribbon. Clean, sculptural, unforgettable.

Maddi was radiant in a strapless white ballgown, classic in shape but modern in feeling, and Jack in a black tuxedo was the perfect counterpart. When they hit the dancefloor surrounded by every person they love, the energy in that outdoor space was electric. You could feel how much they were loved.

Maddi said it better than I ever could: "He blended in so seamlessly, gave direction when we needed it and never made anything feel awkward or forced. If you want a photographer who's talented, grounding, and genuinely great to be around, Adam is your guy."

This is the kind of wedding I get to look back on and feel genuinely proud to have been part of. Maddi and Jack, thank you for trusting me with your day. It was an absolute honour.
